Rating The Cuisinart ICE 30 makes superb ice-cream very quklicy and very easily. Admittedly, it makes a little more noise than it looks as if it would, but that is hardly a problem when one tastes the resulting ice-cream, which is very smooth and better by far than much of the bland shop-bought ice-cream available here in Greece unless you are willing to pay over about 12 euros (about a311) a kilo !! It is important to make sure that all the ingredients you use to make the ice-cream are well-chilled, as this will result in a better ice-cream, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, if you like your ice-cream firmer than the soft products which ice-cream vans squirt into a cone from a machine, you will need to put the ice-cream into a container and leave it in the deep freeze for a few hours. On a final note, I'd like to say how very impressed I was with the speed of delivery I ordered the ice-cream maker at about 3 pm on a Wednesday, and it was here by 10 am on the Friday of the same week that's not bad going considering the package weighed six kilos and was sent from Scotland to a backwater town in Northern Greece!! Well done, Amazon! All in all, I am very satisfied with what I have bought.
